2025 Cultural Breakfast: Exploring Serbia with Marko de Sa Faria

Join us for the 2025 Cultural Breakfast, hosted by the Ottawa Memorial Auditorium and Ottawa University, as we embark on a journey to Serbia with Ottawa University student Marko de Sa Faria.

The morning begins at 7:30 AM in the OMA Exhibition Hall, where guests will enjoy a traditional Serbian breakfast, offering a taste of the rich flavors and culinary heritage of Serbia. Following breakfast, we’ll move into the auditorium for a special presentation by Marko de Sa Faria, a Junior psychology major and goalkeeper for the OU Men’s Soccer team.

Originally from Serbia, Marko will share insights into his home country, covering its culture, sports, economics, and more. With a background in competitive soccer and a deep passion for psychology, Marko brings a unique perspective on Serbian traditions, athletic excellence, and the mindset of resilience and success.

Each guest will take home a Serbian recipe and a special gift, plus we’ll have exciting door prizes!
